Celtic Gladiator 12 takes place on the 20th May in the Civic Hall in Grays (Essex), London and there has been a huge featherweight bout added to the card as Leszek Krakowski of Poland has been announced to fight Nathan Batista from Brazil.
30-year-old Leszek Krakowski has a superb record of 10 wins and only 1 loss and is one of the top fighters in Europe in his weight division. Born in Elblag in the north of Poland, Leszek has lived in the UK for several years and trains in the famous Team Sure Grip Mixed Martial Arts (TSG MMA) in Southend on Sea under the supervision of Daniel Burzotty. His MMA idol is Fedor Emelianenko.
Nathan Batista is from Sao Jose do Rio Preto in Sao Paolo, Brazil and is 26 years of age. He has a record of 8 wins and 4 losses, with 4 of his wins coming by knockout. Nathan represents Team Nogueira SJRP and his coach is Ercules Malta. He started training mrtial arts with Taekwondo, but is also adept in Muay Thai and enjoys wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. His idols are Jose Aldo, Anderson Silva and Rodrigo Minotauro Nogueira.
