Two 'Champ-Champs' are set to square off for the Celtic Gladiator Super Welterweight Amateur Title.
Andreeas Binder is a rising star from the Shaolin Academy in Galway. Shaolin, under veteran professional fighter Ben Davis, have one of the busiest MMA clubs in the country, with a large and very active fight team currently representing their club extremely well on numerous shows. Binder, who originally hails from Romania, took a Super Welterweight title in his last fight. On November 25th in Galway he will look to add to his title collection, and become a x3 champion and position himself as the number one Super Welterweight in Ireland.
His opponent, John Mitchell, is also riding high, having won a Welterweight title in his most recent fight. He is currently the No.2 ranked Irish Welterweight (Tapology) after an extremely impressive run that includes six victories in just 12 months of competition! His club, Cork MMA, are also riding high under coach Arann Maguire. Fighters from the club are representing successfully at both professional & amateur level, and have captured a number of titles this year. Two of their fighters will represent Team Ireland in the upcoming IMMAF World Championships.
Two Champions, both coming off the back of big title wins, will throw down in Galway on November 25th, Galway versus Cork, Ireland versus Romania. Both will fight to become x3 Champs.
